Lab Manager's Tip
Verify the oven's 115V circuit, load distribution and airflow before installation. For ASTM C136/C136M aggregate gradation preparation or ASTM D2216 soil moisture determinations, follow the procedure's specified drying temperature and mass-constancy criteria; a 450°F maximum rating does not mean that temperature is appropriate for those tests.
Typical Applications
Aggregate drying, asphalt sample conditioning, soil moisture testing, sample preparation and routine construction materials laboratory heating.
