The LBR Compaction Mold Base is a durable, zinc-plated steel base designed for use with Limerock Bearing Ratio (LBR) mold assemblies in soil and aggregate testing laboratories. Engineered to securely hold the compaction mold during specimen preparation, the base features a perforated plate with threaded upright rods and wing nuts for reliable mold attachment.

Lab Manager's Tip

Inspect the base plate perforations regularly to ensure they remain free of compacted soil and debris. Before compaction, verify that the mold is properly seated and both threaded rods and wing nuts are securely tightened. Keeping the base clean and properly assembled helps maintain consistent specimen preparation and minimizes movement during compaction.
