The Sheldon "Big Daddy" High-Performance Oven gives high-volume construction materials laboratories a massive 38 cu. ft. chamber while maintaining the temperature control and forced-air circulation needed for demanding sample conditioning, drying, heating, and aging applications. With a stainless steel interior, 12 included shelves, rapid recovery, and a 260°C maximum operating temperature, the “Big Daddy” is an excellent fit for asphalt and aggregate laboratories processing large numbers of samples or oversized loads.

Lab Manager's Tip

We recommend the "Big Daddy" for labs that consistently run out of shelf space rather than simply needing a higher temperature. Its 38 cu. ft. chamber and 900lb permitted total load provide substantially more usable capacity than a conventional laboratory bench oven. Also note that this unit must be hardwired; plan electrical service before delivery.
