Adjustable Hitch Mount Core Rig

HMA's Adjustable Hitch Mount Core Rig converts a vehicle with a standard Class 3 2" receiver into a stable pavement-coring platform. The sliding hitch-mounted frame provides approximately 36" of lateral coring area without repositioning the vehicle, while stabilizing jacks help level the system and the vehicle provides the reaction mass needed to control the drill if a core bit binds.

Lab Manager's Tip

The CE-1175 is the better choice when the customer already has a suitable generator and water system. CE-1195 makes more sense when the goal is a more complete field package from the start. In either case, confirm the intended material before ordering—the standard HMA setup is primarily configured for asphalt coring.
